The result of the examinations of Purva Madhyama II (Class 10) and Uttar Madhyama I and Uttar Madhyama II (Class 12) of the year 2025 was declared on Wednesday by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Sanskrit Education Council, Lucknow. 92.58% of students were successful in Purva Madhyama, while the pass percentage of the candidates of Uttar Madhyama I was 92.08.

The pass percentage of the candidates of Uttar Madhyama II is 87.82. Vidhanshu Sharma of Gyanodaya Sanskrit Higher Secondary School Mau topped in Purva Madhyama II (Class 10) with 93.42 percent marks, while Bhumika, studying in Ambaji Ashram Secondary Sanskrit School Jaunpur, topped in Uttar Madhyama II (Class 12) with 85.21 percent marks. The examination was conducted at 247 examination centers.

Director of Secondary Education Directorate Dr. Mahendra Dev and Secretary of Secondary Sanskrit Education Council Shiv Lal announced the results. He said that this year 8708 more students participated in the examination, which is an indication of the increasing trend towards Sanskrit education. Out of a total of 1265 Sanskrit secondary schools, students from 1075 schools participated in the examination.

247 examination centers were set up for these examinations. The examinations were conducted under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Real-time monitoring was done from the state-level control room, while online control rooms were also established for monitoring at the district and divisional levels. Due to this, success was achieved in conducting the examinations without cheating, transparently, and with purity. In Purva Madhyama II, a total of 13,574 students passed in the first division, and 1,330 students in the second division. At the same time, in Uttar Madhyama II, 5160 students passed in the first division, 4101 students in the second division, and 287 students in the third division.

Results at a glance

Purva Madhyama II: 18,107 candidates appeared in this examination, out of which 14,916 passed. The total pass percentage was 92.58%. The pass percentage of boys was 92.62% and that of girls was 92.45%.

Uttar Madhyama Pratham: 15,645 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 13,365 were successful. The total pass percentage was 92.08%. The pass percentage of boys was 92.51% while that of girls was 90.87%.

Uttar Madhyama II: Out of 11,488 candidates, 9,561 were successful. The pass percentage here was 87.82%. Girls performed better than boys (87.18%) with 89.50% success.
