Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board UPSESSB has canceled the TGT exam to be held in Prayagraj on 14 and 15 May. Now this exam will be held on 21 and 22 July in July. However, there has been no change in the PGT exam to be held on 19 and 20 June. Examination Controller Devendra Pratap Singh has issued a notification and informed about this.

This TGT and PGT written exam is being organized by UPSESSB to fill 4163 vacant posts. In this, 3539 posts are vacant for TGT, while there are 624 vacancies for PGT. According to the selection board, admit cards will be issued on UPSESSB website one week before the next date of the examination.

Posts are reserved for women.
UPSESSB will conduct a written exam to fill 4163 vacant posts of TGT and PGT, in which separate posts have also been reserved for women. Out of 3539 vacancies of TGT, 3213 vacancies are for male candidates, while 326 vacancies are reserved for female candidates. Similarly, out of a total of 624 posts of UP PGT, 549 vacancies are reserved for male candidates while 75 vacancies are reserved for women.

This is the pattern of the exam.
UP TGT and PGT exams will be conducted in offline mode. In both the exams, 125 questions will be asked which will be objective. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. The total marks of the TGT exam are 500, while the PGT exam will be 425 marks. In both exams, questions are asked about general knowledge, the English language, quantitative aptitude and related subjects. The special thing is that there is no negative marking in the exam.
