Israeli attacks in Gaza killed at least 12 people overnight, including children, according to medical staff on Wednesday. Three homes in the urban Nuseirat refugee camp were struck before daybreak. The attacks follow the deaths of over two dozen Palestinians in Beit Lahiya and Gaza City earlier this week. Last month, Israel broke up its truce with Hamas. Since the beginning of March, Israel has denied all imports, including food and medication, to the 2 million Palestinians living in the region, claiming that this is an effort to put pressure on the terrorist organisation to free the captives.

Together with US troops, the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom conducted an operation against a Houthi military target in Yemen. According to a statement, “careful intelligence analysis identified a cluster of buildings, located approximately 15 miles south of Sanaa, used by the Houthis to manufacture drones of the type used to attack ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.” In November 2023, the Houthis started assaulting ships in the Red Sea.

Iran puts to death a man found guilty of espionage for Israel.

Iran put a man who it said was involved in the murder of an Iranian colonel and worked for Israel’s foreign intelligence service to death on Wednesday. Mohsen Langarneshin was the guy who was hung. He was described by officials as a Mossad “senior spy” who offered “technical support” for the 2022 killing of Col. Hassan Sayyad Khodaei, who was shot five times in Tehran by assailants on a motorcycle. They said that Langarneshin met with Israeli spies in Georgia and Nepal after being recruited by the Mossad in 2020.
