Due to severe heat in Sangam city Prayagraj, the timing of schools has been changed once again. The timing of schools from class 1 to 8 has been changed except council schools. Now schools will operate from 7 am to 11:30 am. This order will be effective on recognized and aided English and Hindi medium schools of CBSE, ICSE, and other boards. Not only this, schools of all boards except council schools will be closed for the summer holidays from May 15. Summer holidays in government schools will start from May 20.
On the instructions of DM Prayagraj, BSA Praveen Kumar Tiwari has issued an order to change the timing of schools. BSA has instructed to strictly comply with this order. It is worth noting that Uttar Pradesh is in the grip of severe heat these days. The timing of schools has been changed in many districts including the capital Lucknow. In view of the heat, all schools from class 1 to 8 are being operated from 7.30 am to 12.30 pm only.
Let us tell you that in view of the heat, guidelines have also been issued for outdoor activities and prayers in schools. There will be no outdoor activities in schools after 9 o'clock. Prayers will also be conducted in classrooms. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to make arrangements for clean drinking water in all schools and to keep adequate stocks of ORS and other essential medicines.
