This time, to prevent such incidents during the Haj pilgrimage, the Saudi Arabian government has introduced new rules, under which passengers traveling to Haj without a permit will be fined and banned from traveling to Saudi Arabia.
If you travel without a permit, you will be fined lakhs of rupees
The Saudi Arabian government has announced a fine of 20,000 riyals, i.e. about 4.5 lakh rupees, on people traveling to Haj without a permit. The Saudi government has said that this fine will also apply to those visa holders who enter Mecca or nearby holy places during Haj unauthorizedly. The new rules will be effective from April 29 to June 10.
The Saudi government will also impose a fine on those who help illegally
According to the new rules introduced by the Saudi Arabian government, those who help people coming to Haj without a permit will also be fined. Those who illegally help unauthorized pilgrims will be fined 100000 Riyals (Rs 22.7 lakh). This will include those who arrange transport for unauthorized pilgrims or offer them accommodation or help them in obtaining visas.
Entry ban for 10 years
The Saudi Arabian government has said that people who go on Haj pilgrimage without a permit and those who stay longer than the prescribed time will be deported. Not only this, the Saudi government will also impose a 10-year ban on such people, which means these people will not be able to travel to Saudi Arabia for the next 10 years. Their vehicles can also be confiscated.
