CBSE Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to release the results of class 10th and 12th in May 2025. However, the exact date of the result has not been decided yet. According to sources, according to a senior official of the board, no official date has been announced at the moment. But looking at the trends of previous years, it seems that the result is expected to be released by the second week.
All the students who are appearing for this exam can check their result by visiting the official websites of CBSE cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Apart from this, students can also check the result through these steps given below. In the year 2024-25 session, about 42 lakh students appeared in the class 10th and 12th examinations. The process of evaluating the examination copies of such a large number of students and preparing the result is in full swing.
When were the CBSE Board's 10th, and 12th results released last year
Year 2024: 13 May
Year 2023: 12 May
Year 2022: 22 July (delay due to Covid)
Year 2021: 3 August (Covid year)
Year 2020: 13 July
Year 2019: 6 May
In the last three normal years (2023, 2024 and 2019) the results have been released in the second week of May, due to which the result is expected to come at the same time this year as well.
Minimum marks to pass
According to CBSE, any student is required to get at least 33% marks to pass. If a student falls behind by only 1 mark, then giving him grace marks can be considered.
Result Analysis of the year 2024
Last year, out of 16.8 lakh students, 16.6 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 exam. Out of these, 14.5 lakh were successful, taking the overall pass percentage to 87.33%.
