Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor’s mother, Nirmal Kapoor, died on April 2 at the age of 90.

As the sad news spread online, a number of people from the movie industry came to Nirmal’s Mumbai home to offer their condolences to the Kapoor family.

At Anil Kapoor’s mother’s house, filmmaker Karan Johar, senior actor Anupam Kher, Rani Mukherjee, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Raveena Tandon, Rasha Thadani, Ananya Pandey, and Suhana Khan were seen paying their respects.

Directors Anees Bazmee and Rajkumar Santoshi also paid a visit to the home to express their sympathies.

Renowned author Javed Akhtar, Rumi Jaffery, and former actress Padmini Kolhapure were all seen leaving Nirmal’s home.

Along with other Kapoor clan members, Janhvi Kapoor, her purported lover Shikhar Pahariya, Shanaya Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor were also seen at the location.

According to sources, Nirmal’s last ceremonies will be held at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai tomorrow, May 3. But as of yet, there has been no formal confirmation from the family members.

The Kokilaben Ambani Hospital’s CEO and Executive Director, Dr. Santosh Shetty, said that Nirmal died quietly there on Friday at about 5:25 p.m.

According to reports, Nirmal has recently been in and out of hospitals due to age-related problems.

Her three sons, Boney, Anil, and Sanjay, as well as her daughter Reena Marwah, who is wed to Sandeep Marwah, the founder of AAFT in NOIDA, survive her.

Renowned film producer Surinder Kapoor was Nirmal’s spouse.

In addition, Mohit Marwah, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Rhea Kapoor are also her grandchildren.

In September 2024, Nirmal turned 90 years old, and Anil, Boney, and Sanjay sent their mother sincere birthday greetings. They also sent her additional family photos that she had not seen before on Instagram.
