Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Chennai Super Kings by 2 runs in the Indian Premier League 2025 fixture at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday to move to the top of the table.

RCB posted a total of 213 runs riding on fifties from Jacob Bethell and Virat Kohli before Romario Shepherd produced the second quickest half-century in the tournament to help his side finish with a flourish. RCB went on to defend their score despite fifties from  Ayush Mahatre and Ravindra Jadeja as they limited CSK to 211/5 in 20 overs.
