The entire Bachchan family has been making headlines for quite some time now. Earlier reports of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan taking a divorce shook their fans. However after their joint appearance at daughter Aaradhyas school function it put a full stop to the speculations. Now once again the Bachchans have grabbed limelight; however this time it is the ace actor Amitabh Bachchan who has been a topic of discussion among fans. Recently a throwback tweet of Amitabh has resurfaced where the veteran actor is talking about Aishwaryas decision to opt for a normal delivery over a C-section. The tweet has been receiving major backlash for its content. In 2011 Abhishek and Aishwarya were blessed with a baby girl whom they named Aaradhya Bachchan. Recently Amitabhs old tweet from the time of Aaradhyas birth has resurfaced on social media platform Reddit. Back then Amitabh Bachchan took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote “...emphasising the commendable desire of Aishwarya in having a normal delivery without any epidural or pain killers.” After Aaradhya was born Amitabh again took to X and wrote “This was a normal delivery even though these days people opt for C-section and other things. But Aishwarya wanted a normal delivery she had to struggle but I commend her that she was in acute labour for a long time almost 2-3 hours. But she persisted and said she wanted a normal delivery. She did not use any epidural or painkiller. Now with the tweet once again going viral on the internet fans have been judging Big B prompting cutting remarks about his lack of awareness regarding childbirth. Many users highlighted the pressure Indian women often have for vaginal birth even when it is not the safest option. One user noted Being a celebrity one should not glorify vaginal birth particularly in a country like India as it can create unnecessary pressure on women to choose this option even when it might not be the safest or most appropriate for their individual circumstances and health. Another said As a father-in-law why is he sharing all these details? What an absolute weirdo. One user commented The obsession another individual especially a man has with a womans decision on how she wants to deliver her baby is pathetic.
