Entrepreneur Himanshu Upadhyay's sharp comment

Viral post: Indian entrepreneur Himanshu Upadhyay, who lives in Luxembourg, has made a harsh comment about 'disability and moral bankruptcy' in India's daily life, due to which he decided to leave the country. His post has become a topic of discussion on social media.

The Indian Business Chamber of Luxembourg (IBCL) President Upadhyay responded to a tweet, praising Noida's greenery and beauty. In response to this, he shared his bitter truth. He wrote, “I used to live in a so-called posh colony in Noida. The only reason for leaving India was the disabled and morally bankrupt people around me.”

Daily life difficulties

Upadhyay described his experience in Noida as a lack of basic facilities. He said that lack of electricity and water, pollution and hostile atmosphere among people made his life difficult. He said, “Every day I had to struggle for basic things, not only outside but also inside the house. People always appeared angry and disappointed. Even educated people around me were involved in corruption. I did not want to raise my children in such an environment. As much as I love my country, the people around me have made it hell.” Upadhyay also said that Indian society will take two more generations to learn “civilization, morality and general knowledge”.

Reactions on social media

Upadhyay's post gave rise to a sharp debate on social media. Some people appreciated his clarism, while others criticized generalization. One user wrote, “Your comments about the people of NCR are correct, but you can choose the option to leave India. I decided to come back to NCR and I am confident that this is my home.” At the same time, the other said, “NCR is not a whole country. Apart from this, no one considers Noida as moral criteria and ideal city. Search for other good places in the country and go there.”
