New Delhi [India], Following the blocking of Pakistani artists’ Instagram accounts in India, such as those of actresses Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir, and Ali Zafar, Pakistani singer Abida Parveen’s account has also been barred in India.

“In India, accounts are not accessible. Instagram said, “This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content,” on Abida Parveen’s account.

In the wake of the terrible Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, India had previously said that 16 Pakistani YouTube channels will be banned for disseminating false information and inflammatory, communally sensitive material against India, its Army, and security services.

The Ministry of Home Affairs’ suggestions were followed in this action.

“On the recommendations of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has banned some Pakistani YouTube channels for disseminating provocative and communally sensitive content, false and misleading narratives and misinformation against India, its Army and security agencies in the backdrop of the tragic Pahalgam terror incident in Jammu and Kashmir,” a source in the government told ANI.

Since the 2016 terrorist assault on an Indian Army post in Uri, no Pakistani actors have appeared in Indian motion pictures.

Abir Gulaal, the comeback movie starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, was not released in India. India will not see the release of the film, which also features Vaani Kapoor, according to sources at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The Bollywood movie “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016)” was Fawad’s most recent appearance.

Tourists were the target of the April 22 terror assault in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives. India has taken serious action against Pakistan for its backing of cross-border terrorism in the wake of the Pahalgam terror assault.
