Across 190 locations in the state, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-UG 2025, which is intended to determine admission to MBBS programs, was conducted calmly and incident-free on Sunday. In Telangana, more than 72,000 applicants sat the NEET-UG 2025 test, which was set to run from 2 to 5 p.m. 26,000 applicants enrolled to take the test in Hyderabad at 62 locations, all of which were well guarded.
Entry was open to candidates between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Students who arrived late were refused admission to the test rooms at many sites. One student accidentally went to the Defense Laboratory School, Research Center Imarat rather than the Defense Laboratory School, Kanchanbagh, where she was supposed to be. She was led from Balapur Police Station to her test center with the help of ACP Maheshwaram and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police BV Satyanarayana.
Thank you to the cops for your help, the student and her parents said. Unfortunately, other students did not have the same luck; several were refused admittance because they arrived late, including those at the Government Degree College in Siddipet. According to officials, 26 applicants failed to show up for the test, including 98 in another location and 17 in Medak. Officials claim that in spite of these problems, the NEET-UG 2025 test was administered in a calm environment with strict security.
