EWS Certificate required

The purpose of the reservation system in India is to provide support to socially and economically backward classes. Apart from the general class, other sections have also got the benefit of this system. For this reason, poor people of general class have demanded reservation for a long time. Keeping this in mind, the central government had arranged 10 percent reservation for economically weaker families of general category a few years ago.

Taking advantage of this 10 percent reservation, poor families of general category can strengthen their social and economic status. If you also belong to the poor family of the general category and want to get the EWS (Economically weaker class) certificate, then this information is important for you. We will tell you about this process so that you can get your EWS certificate.

It is necessary to know some important things before obtaining the EWS certificate. Poor families of general category, whose annual income is less than Rs 8 lakh and who have less than 5 acres of land, can apply for EWS Certificate.

To apply for the EWS Certificate, first you have to go to the e-district portal and download the EWS form. After downloading the form, fill it carefully.

While filling the form, keep in mind that there is no error. Next, attach the form with all the necessary documents. Now you have to submit your application form and all the documents to the Tehsil or SDM office. After checking your application, the EWS certificate will be issued.
