María Herrera once again proved her class, securing a commanding win at Italy’s Cremona circuit in the latest round of the FIMLA Championship.

The Spanish rider delivered a tactically flawless performance, reinforcing her status as a leading title contender this season.

The race was not short of drama. Chilean challenger Isis Carreño (Pons Italika Racing FIMLA), tipped as a podium favourite, crashed out on Turn 12 of Lap 2, ending her race prematurely and shaking up the battle at the front.

One of the riders who capitalised on the opening was Britain’s Chloe Jones (GR Motorsport), who improved her Race 1 performance by finishing in 10th place, continuing her upward momentum.

French rookie Lucie Boudesseul (GMT94-YAMAHA) also impressed, finishing just behind Jones in 11th, matching her second-best result of the season and confirming her growing competitiveness.

Tayla Relph (Full Throttle Racing) secured another strong showing, rounding out the top 10 and making it two top-ten finishes during the Cremona weekend.

With Herrera’s victory and a race packed with incidents, the championship remains thrillingly open as the season unfolds.Dailyhunt
