Chennai In spite of her persistent knee ailments, actress Ritika Singh, who gained fame for her outstanding boxing performance in director Sudha Kongara’s “Irudhi Suttru” (also known as “Saala Khadoos” in Hindi), has released an uplifting video detailing how she shed extra pounds and got back in shape.
The actress shared a video on Instagram at the start of which she revealed that she had put on weight and now weighed 72 kg. She went on to demonstrate how she worked out to lose weight and regain her fitness.
“The past three months have been truly transcendental for me,” she added. My knee issues worsened, which was more significant than the fact that my weight had reached an all-time high. It hurt like hell. I was unable to move, kick, or dance with ease. I finally had enough and decided to lock in and appear my best self-ever after glancing in the mirror. And here we are.
“I made some big lifestyle changes, but the ultimate game changer for me has been the attention to the small things,” the actress said, acknowledging that this was a “very long topic” and that there was much to unpack, particularly regarding her relationship with food and how she finally managed her bad habits. The things that have had THE BIGGEST IMPACT are the ones that seem too little to concern.
“I would love to talk about it coz I truly believe it could help so many of us look and most importantly feel better,” the actress said as she wrapped up the post.
With her roles in films like “Irudhi Suttru,” “Aandavan Kattalai,” “Oh My Kadavule,” and “Kolai,” Ritika Singh has established herself in Tamil cinema. Her most recent appearance was in the Rajinikanth-starring movie “Vettaiyan.” She portrayed Roopa Kiran, an Additional Superintendent of Police who collaborates with Rajinikanth.
