The women of Haryana have been eagerly waiting for the rollout of the Lado Lakshmi Yojana, under which eligible women are promised ₹2100 every month. Although the government has already allocated a ₹5000 crore budget, the payments have not yet begun. Recently, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini provided an important update via a video posted on 'X' (formerly Twitter).
In the video, CM Saini reassured the public that the government is actively working on the registration process and that the money will soon start being transferred to eligible women’s bank accounts. He emphasized that the BJP had committed to this scheme in its 2024 election manifesto.
Only women from BPL (Below Poverty Line) families will benefit from this scheme. To qualify:
Your Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) must show an annual income of less than ₹1.8 lakh.
If the income is incorrect or not updated, you must get it corrected immediately to avoid disqualification.
