Inter President Beppe Marotta reveals he could have become a football agent, being an executive gives him ‘more adrenaline’, so he’s ‘glad to suffer’ against Barcelona.
The Nerazzurri host Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League semifinals on Tuesday after a 3-3 draw in Spain last week.
“Emotion isn’t diminished by experience,” Inter President Marotta said during the event Serie C Business Value, as quoted by Calciomercato.com.
“Adrenaline is what makes football beautiful. I lived through the era when football agents came onto the scene, and I could have become a football agent too. However, you don’t get the same adrenaline as when you are an executive, I’m glad to suffer.”
