Barron Trump shares a very close bond with his mother Melania Trump, the First Lady of the United States
US President Donald Trump's youngest son Barron Trump has offered the public plenty of reasons to fixate on him beyond just his privileged upbringing. Barron's towering height and abnormal college attention has further gained attention on social media.
It is already out in the open that Barron Trump shares a very close bond with his mother Melania Trump, the First Lady of the United States. But the 18-year-old has an "extremely close" relationship with another family member too, an insider told The Irish Star.

But Melania is also said to have been leaning on her immediate family members, including her sister Ines Knauss and father Viktor Knauvs, to support her through the second term. The latter also has a strong bond with Barron. "Viktor is extremely close to his grandson, Barron, and you often see them walking around Mar-a-Lago together - or at least you did before Barron went off to New York University," a source who has known the Trump's for years told the Daily Mail.
Barron was also said to have been close to Melania's mother, Amalija, who died in January last year aged 78. The First Lady told People in 2020 that Barron frequently called his grandmother for conversations in Slovenian.
The young Trump grew up with his grandparents as their long and frequent visits to the White House and Mar-a-Lago during Trump's first administration meant they were almost permanent fixtures in Barron's life. Amalija's death was reportedly a "devastating" blow to Melania who "adored her mother and talked to her about everything," according to the source. But Viktor, 81 and Ines, 57, have been there to support her through it.

"Although Ines rarely appears in public, she shares a very close bond with Melania. 'She avoids the spotlight, but behind closed doors, she’s Melania’s greatest support. Since their mother’s passing, their relationship has deepened even further—if that were even possible,' a source revealed."
Viktor is largely the same. "He keeps himself very much to himself. Melania spends most of her time in her private quarters and that's where Viktor and Ines tend to be," they added. "They are private people, very proud of Melania and devoted to her." According to Melania, Barron worked closely with his dad during the campaign and was "very vocal" in advising his father on appearing with media personalities popular among young people.

Barron's bond with family member
Melania Trump, who postponed her move to the White House during her husband's first term to remain in New York until their son Barron completed the school year, has made few public appearances during Trump's second term. Prior to the January inauguration, she shared that she would likely divide her time between Washington, D.C., and New York, where Barron is currently enrolled at NYU's Stern School of Business.ALSO READ: Amal Clooney is the latest victim of Trump's wrath.
