BIS Recruitment 2025: What should be the qualification?

For engineering related posts, the applicant should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with 60% marks and a valid GATE score in 2023, 2024 or 2025. At the same time, for chemistry, candidates should have a master's degree in Natural Science (Chemistry) and a valid GATE score. Minimum marks are relaxed for SC/ST category.

Scientist-B selected in BIS will get a salary of around Rs 1,14,945 per month. Apart from this, they will also get other allowances.
