Amid the deteriorating relations between India and Pakistan, India has organized a mock drill in all the states. The Union Home Ministry has issued a notice and ordered mock drills in all the states and union territories. This mock drill to be held on May 7 will include 300 districts of different states and union territories.

Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has ordered all states and union territories to conduct a mock drill on Monday evening. This mock drill will be held tomorrow i.e. on May 7. Preparations for this are in full swing.

The Home Ministry has sent a circular to the Chief Secretaries of all states and union territories. According to this, civil defense exercises and rehearsals will be conducted in 300 districts of the country on May 7.

Let us tell you that in 2010 also the Home Ministry had ordered to conduct mock drills, during which a list of 244 districts was revealed. This list included the names of many big cities of the country. In such a situation, speculations were being made that this time too mock drills will be conducted in these 244 districts.

According to news agency PTI, the mock drill will be conducted in 300 districts, not 244. However, which districts will these be? Clear information about this has not been revealed yet. But, according to the report, mock drills are likely to be conducted in districts having nuclear plants, military bases, oil refineries and hydropower plants.

Mock drill is a type of exercise which is done in an emergency situation. Usually mock drill is conducted to avoid natural disasters, fire, terrorist attacks and other crises. Its purpose is to keep people alert about the coming danger and increase awareness. Mock drill includes practices like air raid warning system, hotline radio communication links with Indian Air Force, defense training for common people, crash blackout measures.
