According to Dimsum Dailyduring a makeup session, Lucas asked his mother if she would dare to ride in a car driven by him once he gets his license. Cheung responded: “Of course, I would dare. But why do you want to get a license?”

Lucas then explained his motivation, and his touching reason for wanting to drive deeply moved Cheung. She expressed her happiness about the strong bond between her two sons, saying how joyful it made her to think of Lucas driving both Quintus, 15, and herself around once he’s behind the wheel. With a smile, she added that if it’s convenient for him, she wouldn’t mind being chauffeured around herself.

Lucas and Quintus are the sons of Tse and Cheung, who married in 2006 and divorced in 2011. Although the children live with their mother, they maintain a close relationship with their father, often spending quality time with him skiing and enjoying other activities. The brothers were seen dining with their father before one of his concerts in Hong Kong in April.

Cheung, 45, first rose to fame in 1998 with a television commercial for lemon tea, which caught the attention of Hong Kong filmmaker Stephen Chow. Her film debut came in Chow’s 1999 hit “King of Comedy,” where she portrayed a call girl. The film was the highest-grossing local production of that year, launching Cheung into stardom.

Tse, also 45, entered the entertainment industry in 1996 as a singer before making his acting debut two years later.
