Victoria, 51, appears to have confirmed rumours of a feud between her, husband David, 50, and their eldest son Brooklyn by leaving him out of a series of loving snaps of her children on social media. The fashion designer took to Instagram to showcase a gallery of family pictures from David's lavish London party, to which Brooklyn did not attend.
Despite both Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, jetting to London from LA, the pair were notably absent, overshadowing what was meant to be a celebration for the former footballer.
Victoria's posts included a sweet picture of her and David cuddling up to one another as well as black-and-white portraits of their children Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13. However, Brooklyn was pointedly absent from the series of heartwarming snaps after he failed to attend the star-studded party, held at luxury London restaurant Core.
Alarm bells rang when Brooklyn started disappearing from family posts. On a family trip to Scotland, David and his two younger sons, Romeo and Cruz, were having "fun times," capturing these moments on and tagging Brooklyn with a bittersweet "you were missed."
Now, the family's social media posts have seemed to take a turn.
While Victoria normally writes tributes including ' @brooklynbeckham' on her posts when he is absent, the mother-of-four failed to mention her eldest son in her latest posts.
David still offered an olive branch to his son as he shared snaps from the trip, as he captioned one of his posts: 'You were missed @brooklynbeckham.'
Romeo stepped up in his older brother Brooklyn's absence as he delivered a speech at his dad's party.
He reportedly told guests at the party: 'Good evening everyone. I would like to start by thanking you all for being here tonight. I know without many of you in here tonight he wouldn't be half of the man he is today. But to the man of the moment...'
In previous years, Brooklyn was a regular in posting gushing digital tributes to his parents. He used to share photos and affectionate messages on social media during their anniversaries, birthdays and more.
Now, Brooklyn has not only had a lack of physical attendance to family gatherings, he has also not released gestures toward his parents on important dates. He did not congratulate David on his birthday nor did he do so with Victoria when she turned 51. Silence reigns on his Instagram account.
As of today, the future of the relationship between the Beckhams and their eldest son is uncertain. What seemed like a temporary crisis has become a consolidated distance.
According to media outlets, the relationship between the Beckhams and their firstborn is going through its worst moment. A source close to the family claims that David and Victoria already assume that this estrangement has no solution. It is an emotional break that has left the former player completely desolate.
