The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the result of the Computer Based (CBT) CUET PG 2025 examination for admission to postgraduate courses in universities late on Tuesday evening. The final answer key has also been released along with the result. NTA has removed two questions. About four lakh candidates appeared in the examination. Its merit will provide admission in various postgraduate courses in 191 universities of the country. The University Grants Commission (UGC) conducted the examination this time based on the new pattern.
NTA conducted the CUET-PG 2025 examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. This examination was conducted across the country on 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, and 30 March 2025 and 1 April for 157 subjects in three shifts, 47 shifts. Candidates can check their scorecard by visiting the official website. CUET-PG 2025 exam was conducted for around 654019 registered candidates for the academic session 2025-26.
Many candidates raised objections over errors in the answer key.
Earlier, many candidates raised objections over errors in the provisional answer key. Candidates claimed that the provisional answer key contained factually incorrect answers. They expressed their concerns on social media platforms and demanded NTA look into the factually incorrect answer keys. After reviewing the errors, NTA has now published the final answer key.
Two questions were removed from the answer key
NTA has removed two questions from the final answer key. This includes one question from the Psychology paper in the Shift 3 exam held on March 30 and one question from the Social Work paper held in Shift 2 on March 22.
The exam was conducted in 43 shifts for 16 days.
A senior NTA official said that the universities include 41 central universities, 41 state government-run state universities, 15 central government-aided, and 94 deemed to be universities and private universities. The exam was conducted in 43 different shifts for 16 days. This time the number of students appearing in the exam was the highest i.e. 79.97 percent.
