Under the PM Kisan Yojana, the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi released the 19th installment on 24 February 2025 in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Now crores of farmers in the country are waiting for the next installment i.e. the 20th installment. There is a reason for that too. Three months are about since the last installment was received. An installment is given to the farmers every fourth month. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, every year 2-2 thousand rupees are given in three equal installments, i.e. a total of 6 thousand rupees. Let us also tell you when the farmers are going to get the 20th installment under PM Kisan.

What is PM-Kisan Yojana?

Under the PM-Kisan Yojana, the Central Government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year to eligible farmer families. This benefit is distributed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 every four months. To ensure transparency and prompt distribution, the amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

When will PM Kisan beneficiaries get their 20th installment?

Since the 19th installment was released in February, the 20th installment is expected anytime in June. The date for releasing the next installment is not fixed. The government will notify the date. As per the PM-Kisan scheme, installments are released every four months i.e. three times a year during April-July, August-November, and December-March. The amount is deposited immediately in the bank account of the beneficiaries.

eKYC for PM Kisan

According to the PM Kisan website, eKYC is mandatory for PM Kisan registered farmers. OTP-based eKYC is available on the PM Kisan portal or the nearest CSC centers can be contacted for biometric-based eKYC.

How to check your name in the beneficiary list in PM Kisan?

Visit the official website of PM Kisan – https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ tab in the right corner of the page.

Select details from the drop-down such as State, District, Sub-District, Block, and Village.

Click on the ‘Get Report’ tab.

Then the details of the beneficiary list will appear.

How to update eKYC online

Visit the official website of PM-Kisan.

Click on the eKYC option available on the right side of the page.

Enter the Aadhaar card number, and captcha code and click on search.

Enter the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar card

Click on ‘Get OTP’ and enter the OTP in the specified field.

What are the reasons for rejection?

Duplicate name of the beneficiary
KYC incomplete

Farmers belonging to the excluded category will be rejected.

Wrong IFSC code while filling out the application form
Bank account is closed or not valid, account is transferred, blocked or frozen
The Beneficiary's Aadhaar card is not linked to a bank account
Missing mandatory field values ​​will also lead to rejection.
Invalid Bank, Post Office Name
The beneficiary account number is not related to beneficiary code and scheme
Account and Aadhaar both are invalid
