Veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar credited Virat Kohli for India's transformation in Test cricket over the last decade. The Indian pacer, who has been having an impressive tournament with the ball in , claimed that Kohli was responsible for India's fast-bowling revolution in red-ball cricket. Bhuvneshwar praised Kohli's winning attitude, calling it 'special.'

The right-arm pacer stated that he no longer sets specific goals due to a philosophical shift in his outlook over the past few years. Kumar added that he does not think much about his return to the national side and prefers to take one game at a time. He emphasised the importance of staying in the moment and focusing on helping RCB win the title in IPL 2025.

"I will give all credit to Virat Kohli for Team India's transformation in Test cricket and the fast-bowling revolution. He brought in that mindset of winning everywhere, not just going with the flow. That mindset of Virat was very special," Bhuvneshwar said in a video posted by RCB's official handle on social media.

'All I can say is, no regrets' - Bhuvneshwar on his injury-plagued career

Reflecting on his approach in recent years, shared that he avoids setting long-term goals, choosing instead to go 'match by match, tour by tour, or whatever.' He believes this mindset has helped him remain present and give his best in each tournament.

Bhuvneshwar also opened up about the series of injuries that have plagued his career, especially during major tournaments. He acknowledged that such moments are challenging but stressed that he holds no regrets.

"When you get injured on such a big stage, you understand that injury is part of the game, but sometimes it's very difficult to explain to yourself why it happens at that particular time. So, yes, it was tough, of course. And all I can say is, no regrets. That is all I can say," Bhuvneshwar concluded.
