The iPhone 17 Pro camera design and given Google one more reason to mock Apple
Google has taken another dig at rival Apple over its rumoured iPhone 17 Pro design changes that makes it look more like the Pixels. The search giant has a strong Pixel phone lineup that looks to compete with iPhones and these ads are part of the company’s effort to get people talking about the huge differences in these products.
The latest edition of these ads in a podcast form focus on the iPhone 17 Pro camera layout that multiple reports have suggested. The new ad obviously has the Pixel 9 Pro placed next to the iPhone 16 Pro model but talking about the 17 Pro designs.
Google Ad Mocks iPhone 17 Pro: What It Says
Google claims the ongoing iPhone 17 Pro design rumours resemble the Pixel-like camera bar that has been available with the last few Pixel models. The company also accuses Apple of stealing its design ideas and software features baked into the AI applications available for both platforms.
You have the Magic Eraser on Android, which Apple calls Clean Up for iPhone users. Similarly, Google introduced Night Sight, and now Apple has Night Mode. Barring the coincidence pitch, it is not surprising to see these rivals try to one-up each other. Stealing is a strong word in a cutthroat industry and Apple has basically taken up the features that it feels make sense for its users as well.
The similarities between iOS and Android these days cannot be ignored either but that’s how things are, and people are surely not complaining as long as they perform and work as advertised.
