India Strikes in Pakistan: The Indian Army avenged the Pahalgam terror attack and destroyed terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK. A high-level meeting was held in Pakistan on Wednesday (7 May 2025) in which the Indian airstrike was discussed. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif may address the Parliament on this issue on Wednesday evening. The Indian Army carried out airstrikes on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor in the early hours of Wednesday.
PAK army asked for permission to retaliate
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif chaired a meeting of the National Security Council (NSC), which was attended by cabinet ministers, chief ministers, chiefs of all armed forces and senior officials. The NSC meeting lasted for more than two hours and the security situation was discussed in detail. Pakistan is furious over India's retaliation. The Pak Army has sought exemption from Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. On this, Shahbaz said that he has given a free hand to his army. He said that the army has full authority.
Pakistan scared of India's airstrike
Pakistan, like every time, once again said that there are no terrorist camps in its territory. Pakistan reiterated that it had demanded an investigation after the Pahalgam terror attack. Scared by India's airstrike, Pakistan has once again said that it wants peace.
Hours after the Indian military action, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan is ready to end the tension between the two countries if India adopts a soft approach. In a strong retaliatory action two weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army carried out missile strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), including strongholds of terrorist groups Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.
