Lifestyle lifestyle:Life does not work at the same speed for every creature. While some animals can survive for decades (or centuries!), Others barely get 24 hours to experience the world.
It is strange to think – But for some species, there are a few days to be born, growing up, finding partners and saying goodbye. Here is a look at some of the smallest life of nature.
Meflies – Meflies are low -lifetime posters. Despite spending most of your lives under water (for a year!), Once they become adults, the clock starts walking fast.

From meflies to Kilifish and Pigmi Gobi, here is a look at the shortest living organisms of nature and described how they give importance to every minute. Life does not work at the same speed for every creature. While some animals can survive for decades (or centuries!), Others barely get 24 hours to experience the world.

It is strange to think, But for some species, there are a few days to be born, growing up, finding partners and saying goodbye. Here is a look at some of the smallest life of nature. Some species – such as Dolania American – live in their adult for less than five minutes. This is enough time to find a partner, lay some eggs and call it life. No food, no nap – just a very small mission. Pigmi Gobi – This small reef is the least lifetime compared to fish, Pigmi Gobi, any known vertebrae. It survives for only 59 days. Researchers came to know by counting daily rings in their ear bones – such as tree rings, but very small according to the world atlas. Despite the small life, they grow rapidly and breed quickly, ensuring that their species continues.
Labard Chameleon – Meet Labard Chameleon, which is found only in Madagascar. These small lizards fulfill their entire life in about four or five months.

The more interesting thing is that they live outside for more time to get out of their eggs! This is a trick to match Madagascar's dry and wet weather – when the weather is good, they grow fast and take full advantage of it.

Turquoise Kilifish – The turquoise Kilifish found in temporary pokors in Africa has to grow faster as its house dries quickly. These fish become adults in two weeks and usually live only four to six months.

Scientists like to study them because their small life helps us to learn more about aging.

Gastrotrich – You might not have seen them, but gastrotrich are very small creatures that live in water. Some live only for a few days. Even in such a short time, they play a big role in keeping the water ecosystem clean by eating bacteria and recycling nutrients. Small but powerful!
