New mom Deepika Padukone is still navigating the journey of motherhood. The actress, who welcomed her first child, baby girl Dua, last year, recently opened up about how her priorities have shifted.
While she spoke about embracing motherhood and dealing with mom guilt as she plans to return to work, she also shared a shocking incident. She added, "I don't know if that was a compliment or a jab. What does that mean, taking motherhood seriously? Yeah!"She also went on to talk about how things have changed for her. "I do have to tell myself that your life doesn't end the minute you have a child, and that you do need to get back to your life, or at least a part of your life before you had a baby…but every moment where I'm not able to be with her, there is guilt," she said. She, however, clarified, "I wouldn't say I'm lost, but I wouldn't say I've found [my new identity] either. I feel like I'm navigating it." The Pathaan actress, who has been on maternity leave, is set to resume work with Kalki 2898 AD's sequel. She has several other interesting projects in her kitty.
