European football has witnessed a major shift this season, for the first time in 21 years, the UEFA Champions League final will not feature a club from the Premier League, La Liga, or Bundesliga.

Shockingly and of course, deservingly, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have booked their places in the final, knocking out Arsenal and Barcelona, respectively, in the semifinals. The results mean that the biggest footballing nations, i.e. England, Spain, and Germany will be absent from the UCL final for the first time since 2004.

PSG secured their spot after overcoming Arsenal in a thrilling two-legged battle, while Inter Milan silenced Barcelona with a composed and tactical masterclass.
