Collector Ranjith: Alluri, a ray of revolutionary energy

According to district collector P. Ranjith Basha, Alluri Sitarama Raju is a timeless representation of the spirit of revolution, and young people are still motivated by his bravery. He paid his tributes at the Collectorate Mini Conference Hall on Wednesday, the anniversary of the great freedom fighter’s passing, and he garlanded the image of Alluri Sitarama Raju. In his remarks, the Collector referred to Alluri as a bright light in the history of India’s independence movement.

He said, “His struggle against British colonial rule represents a unique and important chapter in our independence movement.” The Collector emphasized the value of social responsibility for all citizens and praised Alluri as a great revolutionary who sacrificed his life for the sake of society. He urged people to be inspired by Alluri’s principles and make contributions to the country’s and society’s advancement. The Collector further emphasized how crucial it is to introduce pupils to Alluri Sitarama Raju’s background. He continued by saying, “His legacy should inspire us all to support those in helpless conditions.”

Tribal inhabitants in the forested areas suffered greatly and were exploited under British administration. The native population was severely oppressed by the British, who placed limitations on the gathering and selling of forest products. According to the Collector, Alluri spearheaded a valiant fight against these abuses and succeeded in securing the tribals’ freedom. He exhorted the young people to go with Alluri’s spirit serving as their beacon of hope. The ceremony was attended by a number of authorities, including District Tourism Officer Vijaya, District Co-operative Officer Ram Anjaneyulu, Collectorate AO Vijayashree, Special Deputy Collector Chiranjeevi, CPO Himaprabha Karraju, and Adoni Sub-Collector Maurya Bharadwaj.
