If someone shares an old or fake video showing bombs falling or bodies lying around and says that it is from the present, then it will be considered an act of spreading fear and confusion in the country and there is a provision of strict punishment for this under the IT Act.

If someone praises Pakistan or any enemy country during the war, shares their flags or writes "Pakistan should win", then it can be considered treason. In which life imprisonment can be done under section 152 of BNS.

If someone posts live information about the location, movement or operation of soldiers on social media such as "Tanks reached such and such place", then it will be considered a breach in security. For this, the accused can be punished under the Official Secrets Act, 1923.

Spreading a false narrative during the war like "India itself got the attack done" or "Our army is killing innocent people" can be considered psychological warfare and can also lead to long imprisonment.
