PSG have defeated Arsenal in the UCL semifinals to book their place in the finals. The manager Luis Enrique didn’t hold back after the victory as he gave a cryptic Statement. This came because two seasons back few football experts said Ligue 1 is the farmer league and PSG are only one who is able to win the league due to its superiority and they don’t show up in European competitions and against top clubs.

Luis Enrique’s PSG have defeated Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Aston Villa, all the top four clubs of Premier League, and thus, the manager pulled out this statement.

Paris Saint-Germain have silenced their critics in the most emphatic fashion, defeating Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League semifinals to book their place in the final. The French giants, under the guidance of manager Luis Enrique, put in a commanding performance to overcome Mikel Arteta’s side and continue their impressive run in Europe.

Following the final whistle, Enrique didn’t hold back. “The farmers league, you know? We’re the league of farmers!” he exclaimed, clearly addressing the long-standing criticism that Ligue 1 lacks competitiveness and that PSG only dominate domestically due to a lack of quality opposition.

The fiery statement comes after years of skepticism from pundits and fans who claimed that PSG were flat-track bullies in Ligue 1 but failed to show up on the big stage.
