South Korean police suspects another women involved in Jin nonconsensual kiss case

BTS’ Jin’s 2024 FESTA gala faced some setbacks after two women were identified of misbehaving with the k-pop star. As quoted by The Korea Herald, another woman has been suspected to have kissed Jin without seeking his at the ‘ARMY hug’ event, further details are yet to be revealed. The police authority is on the verge to identify the suspected women amidst the investigation of the Japanese women who is moved towards the prosecution.

About the controversy involving Jin and follow-up investigation

During the investigation of the middle-aged Japanese origin women who flaunted about kissing the artist’s neck, police discovered the new information of a second suspected women.

The women who have been held in the case has assured to that she will cooperate in questioning by the South Korean administration and the local police. After much delay, the women decided to exempt entering Korea and as a result the investigation was terminated in March. Despite seeking the Japanese Interpol, inscribing her location and questioning her is seemingly a difficult task.

The case started when a fan reviewed the FESTA videos and spotted inappropriate approach toward Jin, as a result a complaint was filed. Meanwhile, the artist or his team is yet to respond on this issue. The 50-year-old woman continue to be a part of the investigation amidst the back and forth tracing of the second women in question.

Jin’s upcoming projects

BTS’ Jin was released from the military after two and a half years of mandatory service on June 12, 2024. He has been occupied with various Korean variety and entertainment shows, and have recently starred in Netflix’s Kian’s Bizarre B&B. and his reality show RUN JIN, the episodes of which frequently goes viral.
