Veteran Pakistani , actor producer, and TV host Faysal Quraishi lashed out vehemently at the Indian government as well as Bollywood stars over recent missile strikes targeting Pakistani soil.
Posting a series of videos on his verified Instagram account, Quraishi vocally blasted India’s aggressive posturing and accused the Modi government as well as the Bollywood fraternity of fomenting falsehoods and spreading hate among people with disinformation.
Speaking to the Indian leadership, he stated, “Think before you act. Who is inviting you to go to war with Pakistan? You create conflict for yourselves and you destroy your own military equipment.
He was referring to the previous incident of Indian pilot Abhinandan, highlighting that India did not learn anything from its past errors. “You keep on promoting false accounts, and both the Modi regime and Bollywood celebrities have a big role in propagating the lies,” he said.
Quraishi wrote that despite the propaganda of the government, most educated and sensible Indian citizens know the reality. He criticized Indian celebrities for bowing to state influence, frequently uploading polarizing content as instructed by the authorities.
Referring to the recent event at Pahalgam, he said, “The Indian nation knows what actually occurred there. We’ve had our share of terrorism and we know how it feels. The Indian leadership deceives outrightly. When we demanded proof, they had none. But when we produced evidence, they fell completely silent.”
He concluded his message with a stern threat: “We shot down five of your warplanes. Consider carefully before escalating further. Don’t mislead your people or attempt to deceive us.”
This fierce response follows India allegedly conducting missile attacks on five targets in Pakistan at night on May 6-7. In response, the Pakistan Air Force effectively downed five Indian fighter jets as part of its defense strategies.
