Jammu: Late Friday night, many drones and intense cross-border firing were reported close to civilian areas in Jammu, as tensions continued to rise along the India-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir. Residents reported seeing three or four drones in the sky at approximately eight o’clock in the evening, followed by heavy gunfire that lasted all night.

“We noticed three or four drones last night at approximately eight o’clock. The whole night was filled with retaliatory shooting. Pakistan did something wrong. We’re not afraid. “Here, schools are closed,” he said.

“Last night, we heard loud booms as soon as we began eating. We heard explosions again around 4:30 a.m., but our men managed to neutralize them as well. There is no need for concern. Our troops are ready. There is nothing to fear,” he added, adding that Bhagwati Vaishno Devi was seated in Jammu.

“Attacking civilians is nothing but cowardice because they (Pakistan) don’t have the courage to fight our forces,” the locals said, denouncing the targeting of civilians as an act of cowardice. All they can do is this… “We are proud of our forces for their appropriate response,” the local stated.

“Last night there was a total blackout. Drones then began to fly, and the firing went on all night. Our troops are responding appropriately to Pakistan. We trust our Army and our Prime Minister. Our soldiers were able to eliminate every drone. We take pride in our nation. Another resident remarked, “The rest of the places are safe, but there is tension near the border.”

Images revealed that Pakistani firing last night had destroyed civilian homes in a border town in Jammu & Kashmir. Schools, colleges, and other educational facilities in Udhampur have been closed today due to the current circumstances.

According to a Rajouri resident, “My house’s whole front section has been devastated by Pakistan’s fire. My relatives’ homes have also sustained damage. At night, the bombardment was really intense. We support the Army.

During a massive counter-drone operation along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Borders (IB) on Thursday night, the Indian Army notably knocked down over 50 Pakistani drones, according to sources who spoke to the media report.
