London Following the victories of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in their respective semifinals on Thursday, the UEFA Europa League will feature an all-English final on May 21.

Athletic Bilbao, who had the home team on the ropes for a long time despite missing players like Nico and Inaki Williams and Oihan Sancet, defeated Manchester United 4-1 at home thanks to three late goals. After winning 3-0 in the first leg in Bilbao last week, United won 7-1 overall.

After United tried to stay deep and play on the break in the first half, Mikel Jauregizar gave the Basque club hope in the 31st minute by curling in a fantastic strike from beyond the box to reward their dominance, according to Xinhua.

The match was all but gone when Mason Mount made it 1-1 in the 72nd minute. Athletic had been the superior team for the opening 25 minutes of the second half, but they were unable to generate enough opportunities without important forwards.

Rasmus Hojlund made it 3-1 five minutes from time after Casemiro flicked in a free kick in the 80th minute, and Mount scored his second goal from a distance when goalie Julen Agirrezabala was off his line.

In other news, Tottenham defeated Bodo/Glimt 2-0 on the road to win 5-1 overall.

Dominic Solanke gave Spurs the lead with a corner kick in the 63rd minute, and Pedro Porro’s long-range goal six minutes later sealed the team’s last spot.

Chelsea will play Real Betis in the Conference League final; Chelsea won 5-1 overall, while Betis barely defeated Fiorentina 4-3 after extra time.

Following their 4-1 victory against Swedish team Djurgarden on the road last week, Chelsea had no trouble guaranteeing their spot in the final.

With Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scoring the game’s lone goal in the 38th minute, Chelsea increased their advantage and the outcome was never in question.

In a thrilling first half, Antony gave the Spanish team a two-goal lead on aggregate with a spectacular free kick that went in off the post in the 30th minute. Betis headed to Florence defending a 2-1 first leg victory at home against Fiorentina.

On minutes 34 and 42, however, Robin Gosens scored two headers from corners to give the Italian team a response.

Ez Abde’s far-post strike in extra time made it 2-2 on the evening and 4-3 to Betis overall after the second half ended without any goals.
