The singer has shared a post on Instagram confirming the delay in the concert and assuring fans that a new date would be announced soon.

Post the Pahalgam attack on April 22, the Indian armed forces launched precision missile strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). Codenamed Operation Sindoor, the strikes were launched as a retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack.


Arijt Singh postpones Abu Dhabi concert

Arijit Singh’s team shared a note regarding the Abu Dhabi event. The message read, “Dear Fans, due to recent events, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Arijit Singh live concert in Abu Dhabi, originally scheduled for 9 May 2025, at the Etihad Arena, Yas Island. We deeply appreciate your patience, support, and understanding during this time. We are working closely with the venue and the new date will be announced soon”.

The message also said that tickets for the concert will be valid for the new date as well. Attendees could either use the same ticket or opt for a full refund. The concert goers have one week, starting May 12, to start the refund process.

Arijit Singh’s concert post Pahalgam attack

This is not the first concert by an Indian artist that has been rescheduled over the past few weeks. Post the Pahalgam attack, Arijit Singh had cancelled his Chennai concert. Other singers, such as Shreya Ghoshal and Papon, had also rescheduled or cancelled events.

Salman Khan had postponed his UK tour in the light of the Pahalgam attack as well.


Arijit Singh to collaborate with Sonu Nigam?

Reports claim that Sonu Nigam and Arijit Singh will soon sing a track for Border 2. The song will be a recreation of Sandese Aate Hai from Border. According to Pinkvilla, the rights of the iconic track have already been secured by the production team.

Border 2 stars Sunny Deol, Ayushmann Khurrana, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan. The Bollywood movie is expected to hit theatres on Republic Day 2026.
