India’s early-morning Operation Sindoor, a reaction to the Pahalgam terror assault, has cast doubt on the survival of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025.

Many foreign players playing in the PSL are concerned as tensions increase. According to reports, a number of players want to quit the nation and the competition. However, airspace limitations prevent them from departing.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesman, Amir Mir, revealed that due to airspace restrictions, the international players would not be allowed to leave the nation for at least the next 48 hours. According to reports, seven English players have indicated a desire to quit the PSL in the middle of the season.

The players are often contacted by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), which is keeping a close eye on the issue.

Amir Mir said that at a meal, the foreign players had a casual conversation with PSL director Salman Naseer.

They naturally discussed the present state of affairs, but Mir gave the assurance that the international players are secure and well guarded by the Pakistan Army. He underlined that they do not anticipate the PSL to be impacted by the surgical strikes that have occurred on both sides of the border. They will, however, decide on further measures if the situation worsens.
