Details of Carry On and star Julian Holloway's will have been revealed with his daughter, model Sophie Dahl, being snubbed in favour of her step brother as she receives a token amount of his fortune. at the age of 80 and his will showed he had £493,917 when he died, which was reduced to £480,891 after deductions.

He left daughter Sophie Dahl and stepdaughter Kate Gregory just £25,000 each. The bulk of his £500,000 fortune went to his stepson Joel Gregory, who was also appointed as the will's administrator. His final wish, as stated in the will, was that his ashes would be scattered at Lords Cricket Ground in London or Sudbrooke Park Golf Club in Surrey. Mum of two Sophie, 47, who is married to acclaimed jazz musician Jamie Cullum, was born after Julian had a brief relationship with her mother Tessa Dahl in 1976.

Julian was born into showbusiness royalty on 24 June 1944 in Watlington, Oxfordshire, as the son of actor and comedian Stanley Holloway and actress Violet Lane.

He studied at Ludgrove School, Harrow School, and later the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and began his career in 1961 after featuring in an episode of The Avengers.

He featured in eight of the hugely successful Carry On films between 1967 and 1976 as well as one of the Carry On Christmas TV specials.

He also played a leading role in the classic serial Survival, which was the final story of the show's original 26-year run.

As well as the Carry On franchise and Doctor Who, Julian starred in films such as The Sweeney, Fair Exchange and Our Man Higgins.

He also found fame in the US as a successful voice actor and performed as Captain Zed in Captain Zed and the Zee Zone.

His voice featured in 55 of the 65 episodes of James Bond Jr., an animated American show based on the James Bond franchise.

His final performance came as Prime Minister Almec in a 2020 episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
