Operation Sindoor has caused a social media mayhem, causing gazillions of fan edits and circulation of war movie scenes online.
Amid all the chaos, a clip featuring Preity Zinta is going viral on social media.
The clip is from the cult movie Lakshya, which also starred Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.
In the film, Preity Zinta plays a journalist who is reporting on the forefront of the Kargil war.

In the scene, Preity Zinta can be seen eating in an army canteen when she asks, “Why does war happen? When will people understand that peace is the ultimate solution?”
Hearing this, one of the soldiers who was sitting beside her gets infuriated and says, “Just shut up! If you want to lecture on peace and harmony, then go somewhere else. Get Lost!”
He further adds, “Even we want peace and harmony, so what should we do? Stand in front of them with our hands folded? Should we offer our country on a platter to them? Captain Abeer Saxena also wanted peace and harmony, but he didn’t go to attack anyone’s country. Abeer’s country has been attacked. The road on which he was killed is the road of India; it is the land of India. First go and see Abeer Saxena’s body and then talk about peace and harmony.”
The reactionsAccording to a majority of users, Pakistan sympathisers in India and people who are criticising India’s attack on Pakistan should see this video.

Directed by Farhan Akhtar, Lakshya follows a young guy who gets challenged by his father and joins the Indian Army.
He later fought in the Kargil War, which changed the face of the India-Pakistan relationship.
