UEFA Champions League: PSG defeat Arsenal by 3-1 to book their place in the finals

Paris Saint-Germain have defeated Arsenal in the second leg as well to book their place in the finals of the competition. Arsenal got beaten by 3-1 on aggregate after the second leg scoreline remains 2-1. Fabian Ruiz was the one who opened the scoring in the game and also it was doubled by Hakimi in the second half. Saka did score one for Arsenal but it was too late to hope for a victory from there.

Paris Saint-Germain have secured their place in the finals of the competition after defeating Arsenal 2-1 in the second leg, sealing a 3-1 win on aggregate. The French champions were composed and clinical at home, following up their 1-0 first-leg win in London with another dominant display.

Fabian Ruiz opened the scoring in the first half, calmly finishing off a swift attacking move. Achraf Hakimi doubled the lead in the second half, leaving the Gunners with a mountain to climb. Bukayo Saka did manage to pull one back late in the game, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback.

Mikel Arteta’s side showed flashes of fight, but PSG’s experience and quality shone through. With this result, Luis Enrique’s men march into the final, keeping their dream of European glory alive. They will now be facing Inter Milan in the finals.
