According to a report by NCBI, consuming the same oil after heating it repeatedly leads to the formation of dangerous chemicals like polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the oil, which increases the risk of cancer.

Repeatedly heating the oil can increase the risk of cancer. Because repeated heating of oil creates dangerous chemicals in the oil which can damage the DNA of the body, which can cause tumors or cancer in the body. At the same time, the harmful elements present in the oil smoke can damage the lungs through breathing. Long-term exposure to oil smoke can increase the risk of lung and intestinal cancer. 

How to reduce the risk of cancer 

Do not reheat the oil. Throw away the oil after using it for frying once. 

Do not overheat the oil. 

Cook food in steam or boil it instead of using oil. 

Do not store the leftover oil. 

Use only as much oil as you need at one time.
