New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has strongly criticised Pakistan for breaching the ceasefire agreement between the two nations. With India currently engaged in a border conflict with Pakistan following the Pahalgam terrorist attack on tourists last month India initiated Operation Sindoor targeting multiple terrorist strongholds within Pakistan. In retaliation Pakistan launched missiles and drones at Indian civilian regions but the Indian Armed Forces successfully intercepted all incoming threats. Virender Sehwag roasts Pakistan: On Saturday May 10 the governments of India and Pakistan reached a ceasefire agreement. However just hours after the accord the Pakistani military fired missiles and rockets over Jammu in India. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag known for his provocative comments in India-Pakistan matters made a harsh statement on social media condemning Pakistan for violating the ceasefire agreement. Taking to X he wrote: Kutte ki dum tedi ki tedi hi rehti hai meaning A dogs tail always stays crooked. pic.twitter.com/8HEGZhv2O6 — Virrender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) May 10 2025 The ongoing geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan have had a significant impact on the 2025 IPL and PSL seasons. Both the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have already postponed their respective tournaments to an undisclosed future date. Although the BCCI has confirmed that IPL 2025 will resume in a week the recent ceasefire breach by Pakistan may further threaten the completion of the tournament. Reports suggest that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has extended an offer to assist the BCCI in hosting the remaining IPL 2025 matches in England.
