Gond katira recipes : Gum Katira is in a lot of discussions these days. Due to its health benefits and utility during the summer season, many people are including it in their diet. Glue katira contains nutrients such as protein, fiber, calcium, magnesium, folic acid and antioxidants. It is particularly beneficial in the summer season. Its cold effect relieves heat, heat stroke and body irritation in summer.

Due to high fiber content, it reduces problems like constipation, acidity, gas and irritable bowl syndrome. Hydrates the skin, reduces acne, wrinkles and pigmentation. It prevents the problem of dandruff and breakage for hair. You can consume it in many ways during the summer season. But if you have any health problem, then take a doctor’s advice before adding it to your diet. Today we have brought you some recipes made from Gum Katira.

1. Gum Katira Mishri Sherbet

Ingredients (for 2 serving),
Glue Katira: 2 tablespoons
Mishri (Rock Sugar): 2-3 teaspoons (powder)
Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
Water: 2 glasses
Snow pieces: optional
Peppermint leaves: to decorate

Method,
Soak the gum katira in 1 cup of water overnight or for at least 4-6 hours. In the morning it will become like a jelly.
Take 2 glasses of cold water in a large pot. Add soaked gum katira (including water) to it.
Add sugar candy powder and lemon juice. Shake well so that the sugar candy dissolves.
Add ice pieces to taste and decorate with mint leaves.
Serve cold. It gives freshness and coolness in summer.

2. Gum Katira Cold Milk

Material (for 1 serving),
Gum Katira: 1 teaspoon
Milk: 1 glass
Honey or Chinese: 1-2 tablespoons
Cardamom powder: pinch
Almonds (chopped): 4-5 (to decorate)

Method,
Soak the gum katira in water overnight. Sieve it in the morning and keep it aside.
Heat milk in a pan. Add soaked gum katira to it and boil for 2-3 minutes.
Add honey or sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well.
Allow the milk to cool slightly and put it in the glass.
Sprinkle the chopped almonds and serve.
It is beneficial for digestion and bones.

3. Gum Katira Faluda

Material (for 4 serving),
Glue Katira: 2 tablespoons
Faluda Sevai: 1/2 cup
Milk: 4 cups
Roh Afja: 4 teaspoons
Chinese: 4-5 tablespoons (as per taste)
Subza seeds: 1 teaspoon
Vanilla Ice Cream: 4 scoop
Daeway (almonds, pistachios): chopped, decorated

Method,
Soak gum katira and sabza in water overnight.
Boil Faluda Sevai for 5-7 minutes, filter and put it in cold water and keep separate.
Heat milk in a pan, add sugar to it and dissolve it and let it cool.
In a long glass, first insert 1 teaspoon of spirit. Then add 1 teaspoon of soaked gum katira, 1 teaspoon sabza and 2 teaspoons Faluda Sevai.
Add cold milk on top, then add a scoop vanilla ice cream.
Serve cold by decorating with chopped fruits. It is a fresh desert in summer.

Take these precautions

Always soak gum katira, so that there is no risk of choking. Take it in limited quantity. Do not consume more than two spoons a day, because too much use can cause digestive problems. Consult your doctor before consuming any health problem problem or medicine.
