Mumbai: Masik Kalashtami is considered a spiritually significant observance in Hinduism. This vrat (fast) is observed every month on the Ashtami Tithi (eighth lunar day) during the Krishna Paksha (waning phase of the Moon). He is also seen as the destroyer of enemies. Those struggling with opponents or secret enemies often observe this vrat to gain victory. According to Vedic astrology, offering prayers to Kaal Bhairav helps mitigate the malefic effects of planetary doshas (flaws) and neutralises astrological imbalances.
