On Monday, May 12, the much-anticipated trial in the Sean “Diddy Combs” racketeering and sex trafficking case got off. The opening day of the trial included a violent showdown between the two sides. During the opening comments, assistant US attorney Emily Johnson aired startling allegations of Diddy’s violent and abusive prior behavior against several people, with Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, taking center stage.

Diddy reportedly ordered an escort to pee in Cassie Ventura’s mouth at a “freak off” party, making her feel like she was choking, according to Johnson’s account of one of the disclosures. In federal court in Manhattan, Johnson told the jury, “Cassie will tell you that she felt like she was choking when Combs made an escort urinate in her mouth.” According to the New York Post, the attorney went on to explain how Ventura was allegedly coerced into the repulsive behavior when the founder of Bad Boy Records began inviting her to his wild parties and drugging her for days of nonstop sex with male escorts.

As “memorabilia of the most humiliating nights of her life,” the rapper has repeatedly threatened to expose the tapes of Ventura attending the parties. Diddy, who was 17 years Cassie’s senior, reportedly offered her a 10-album contract when she first met him at the age of 19. Maintaining the defendant’s satisfaction was essential to her safety and means of subsistence. Only one of them had authority, and they were envious and disloyal,” the prosecutor said.

According to Johnson’s other memory, Diddy once pushed Cassie to the ground of an SUV and “stomped repeatedly on her face.” She also spoke about the freak-offs, in which the rapper “beat Cassie viciously” because she missed his calls, spent too long in the restroom, or left a party early. Johnson also brought up Diddy’s inner circle of bodyguards and senior staff members throughout the hearing, alleging they helped him commit the crimes and cover them up. Conversely, Teny Geragos, Diddy’s attorney, emphasized that the case was about a consensual sex act, which he said the prosecution had been attempting to transform into a case involving prostitution and sex trafficking.

“Sean Combs is a complex individual.” However, this is not a difficult scenario. This case involves money, adultery, jealousy, and love. Over the last year, this case has generated a great deal of attention. “That noise needs to be stopped,” Geragos said.

Now that the trial has begun, Diddy is sticking to his guns and entering a not guilty plea to the accusations. The court also heard testimony from witnesses, including a security guard who claimed to have seen Diddy attacking Ventura at a hotel in 2016, in addition to the back-and-forth accusations and counterclaims.
