Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s anticipated debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025 has excited Shalini Passi.
Shalini referred to Aishwarya as “the most perfect woman” and expressed her appreciation for the actress’s ability to juggle her duties as a mother, wife, and celebrity. She praised the actress for her ageless beauty, enormous skill, and elegance. In response to a question about whether stylists have adequately captured Aishwarya Rai’s beauty throughout the years and her regular attendance at the Cannes Film Festival, Shalini expressed praise. At the international event, she recognized Aishwarya’s legendary position and commended her for having a natural elegance and charm that often go beyond fashion choices.
“I think Aishwarya is the most perfect woman in terms of her face and talent,” Passi told IANS. She has it everything, in my opinion, if God could have blessed anybody. The hard work, her beauty, her skill, or her nature may all be contributing factors. She is really incredible as a wife and mother. She is someone I really appreciate. Indeed, she seems like something to me. And I’m ecstatic because I believe she will be there as well.
As a representative of L’Oréal Paris, Aishwarya Rai made her debut on the Cannes red carpet in 2002. Since then, she has been a frequent visitor to the esteemed film festival. She became the first Indian actress to serve on the Cannes Film Festival jury in 2003, making history in the process.
Returning to Shalini Passi, she will be making her red carpet debut with “Longitude 77” at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival in 2025. She conveyed her enthusiasm by saying that she sees Cannes as a celebration of art in all its forms as well as a top film festival where Indian innovation may be seen by a larger global audience.
Shalini gave her honest assessment of the event, acknowledging that she found the concept of a “debut” in this situation to be a little strange. “I never specifically imagined walking the Cannes red carpet as a milestone,” she said. “I had no idea that there was such a thing as a red-carpet debut,” she said, adding that while others in her immediate vicinity often draw attention to such occasions, whether it’s the premiere of a television show or, more recently, the red carpet, she finds the idea humorous.
Shalini, who has pursued a variety of artistic endeavors throughout her life, said that while red carpet appearances are often associated with movies and glitz, to her they represent simply another thrilling phase in a life full of novel experiences.
