Major traffic detours have been established around Lucknow in anticipation of Tuesday’s Bada Mangal festivities to guarantee safe and easy travel during the fairs and Bhandaras (community feasts) at well-known temples such as Hanuman Setu Temple and New and Old Hanuman Temple in Aliganj. From Monday at midnight until Tuesday night, when the fair ends, the detours will be in place.

Every Bada Mangal would be subject to the updated traffic strategy, according to DCP Traffic Kamlesh Dixit. If there is any difficulty to commuters, they may call the Traffic Control Room at 9454405155.

Roads Closed to Public and Heavy Vehicle Traffic:

– On the Purnia and Daliganj railway crossings heading towards Kapurthala and IT Chauraha, highways and city buses from Sitapur Road would be prohibited.

– Subhash Chauraha would be used to prevent heavy trucks from Kaiserbagh and Hazratganj from accessing the IT and Kapurthala regions.

Additionally, there will be restrictions from Kursi Road, IT Chauraha, Aliganj Sahara Tower, Niralanagar, Channi Lal Chauraha, Sai Mandir Aliganj, Alkapuri, Shalimar Cut, Clark Avadh, and Motimahal Tiraha — mostly in the direction of Hanuman Setu, Hanuman Dham Temple, and Kapurthala.

Other Roads That Are Open to Cars:

For northbound and eastbound transit, commuters may use the Madiyanav Overbridge, Purnia, Daliganj railway crossing, Pakka Pul, Engineering College, Vikas Nagar, Badshahnagar, Nishatganj, Sankalp Vatika, and other cities.

– Other routes include Clark Avadh to Subhash Chauraha via KD Singh Babu Stadium, Shaheed Smarak, Chiraiyajheel, Teethi Puliya, Rahimnagar, Wireless Chauraha, Gol Market, and Sahara Tower backlane.

Police advise commuters to comply with on-duty traffic officers and make appropriate travel plans.
