This warm spell is well above the seasonal average. Typically, Ottawa sees highs of 19°C and lows around 8°C during this time of year. Instead, the city is now experiencing temperatures 6 to 7 degrees above normal.


Tonight will be partly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to a mild 14°C.


The weather is expected to shift slightly on Wednesday. It will be mainly cloudy, with a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers. The high will still be pleasant at 25°C.


Thursday will bring a mix of sun and clouds, again with a 30 per cent chance of showers. The high will be a bit cooler at 17°C.


Friday looks warmer again, with a high of 28°C. However, there’s a 60 per cent chance of showers, so keep an umbrella handy.
